The Potter and Abernathy Families

I was delighted when my friend Jen contacted me about a family session with both her family and her sister's family.

I've been super blessed to have 2 of my 3 sisters living in the Charlotte area. I just LOVE watching our kids play and laugh together. There's something super special about growing up with your cousins. And Jen and Deb have just that with their families living within a few miles of one another. What a gift. 

Jen and John have two children, Elizabeth (4) and Caleb (2). They are also expecting a third little one! I've enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth and Caleb over the last year. Elizabeth is just filled with joy - you can typically find her twirling in a beautiful dress and asking her mommy to put braids in her hair. Caleb is super affectionate and loves all things trucks and dancing to music. From the time I met John and Jen, I could tell that they a) were very much in love and b) made a great team as parents! I can't wait to meet the new addition to the Potter family!

Deb and Bryan also have two children: Caleb (almost 3) and Katherine (17 months). You can just see the joy that Deb and Bryan's children bring them. It was fun seeing them laugh and goof off together. I also loved watching Caleb and "KK" love on each other. They already have such a sweet sibling bond. 

I didn't have to give these cousins much direction on how to have fun together! They couldn't stop laughing!
